How did Ladybug Mail Club start? 💌 🐞 🍀

I thought I would do a little blog post about how and why I started Ladybug mail club!

I have always loved to create stuff! I particularly adore journalling and writing letters to my penpals! Since a child I have been writing letters to my friends and I love sending them a whole themed letter with so many goodies packed inside. It combines all of my favorite things! Drawing, designing, themes, whimsy, handwriting, stickers, postcards, stamps etc. 

Last year (April 2025) I had the idea to create "Ladybug Mail Club"! I went through so many different names, and I finally landed on Ladybug Mail Club! I landed on that name because Ladybugs represent everything I love! They're so whimsical, I love their spotty patterns and how they represent luck! I'm not even joking, the day after I decided on this name, I went on a walk and guess what I saw on my front door before leaving? A ladybug! 

I got my notebook and started planning! At first, it really scared me. I had never done ANYTHING like this before! But, over time that fear actually turned more into excitement!!! The more this first letter started to come together, I just became more and more and more excited to share it with you! When I first received my glitter stickers I had made, it felt so surreal! It was such a strange feeling to see something I had drawn as a sticker! I immediately put one on my pinboard above my desk haha! 

Over the summer of 2025, I created the first letter. It took me such a long time to create this first letter because I was so nervous, and wanted to make sure it was as good as I could possibly make it! But, I eventually got there and I cannot wait to send it to you! It's so pink, spotty and filled with ladybugs! 

So here we are! Ladybug Mail Club has finally begun and I cannot wait to send you a themed, whimsical letter every month!
